Playa Azul Golf, Scuba & Spa Hotel

By the Caribbean Sea, this quiet Mexico beach resort is across from the golf course, where play is complimentary for hotel guests, and six km (four mi) from the Cozumel's airport.

Facilities include beach access, a dive shop with complimentary snorkel equipment, an outdoor swimming pool (with children’s area), and a spacious lawn furnished with playground equipment. For adults, a second-floor game room offers pool tables and a computer with high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

Playa Azul Golf, Scuba & Spa Hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast. Other dining choices include Chan Ka'an, an indoor, air-conditioned restaurant and bar, and Palma Azul, which provides outdoor dining with an ocean view. Like most Cozumel hotels, Playa Azul recommends guests not drink tap water and supplies bottled water. Parking is complimentary.

Playa Azul is a family-run resort with just 50 guestrooms and suites. All rooms are air-conditioned, with balconies or terraces overlooking the white-sand beach and the Caribbean Sea. All rooms offer complimentary wireless Internet access.

Ocean-view rooms are located in a four-story wing (elevators). One-bedroom suites are located in a three-story wing (no elevators). Decor includes pale-yellow walls and ceilings and terracotta tile floors.

Cable TV, direct-dial phones, and coffeemakers are provided. Rooms also offer hair dryers, in-room safes, and complimentary bottled water. Rollaway beds are not available.

Rooms are offered in the European Plan (without meals, except for the complimentary buffet breakfast).
